Acording to my observation,I think there are 3 reason why users choose video piracy instead of video lincence. First, piracy is well done at resource intergration. Regardless of whether the video comes from China 、 HongKong 、 Japan or American, you can easily find everything you want. The second reason is that there are too many various advertisements of all kinds. Although the copyright owners announce that their vip members don’t need to watch advertisements, they the members still watch many kinds of advertisements. Actually, at the video beginning, there is an advertisement which can be skip or manual fast forward. generally it’s fast forward. Because if you want to fast forward, you will fall into the trap of interface interaction.you can easiler click on the interface of advertisement, then you will be enforce to the advertisement website. when you are watching the program, you will see the advertisement at the rightcorner all time. If you think you can tolerate to this situation, there are even more extreme situation to you. you will see whole advertisement over you screen when you pause the video. If you watch some interesting you want to share with your friends, you may want to make a screenshot, but when you pause to make it, you ofter get a advertisement screenshot. Last but not least, regarding to the people who go abroad, Like Japan, you can’t watch the lisensed videos through Chinese video platform or HongKong’s.even if you spend money you still can’t be permitted to watch their videos. a a a So The only way they can use is finding the piracy website. I feel so strange in this situation, because it make me feel the lincensed punish them who support the lincensed, on the contrary, the piracy rewards them who support the piracy. correct my English and tell me why ,then reply to the opinion
改正:
According to my observation, I think there are three reasons why users choose video piracy instead of licensed platforms.
First, piracy websites are very good at resource integration. Regardless of whether the video comes from China, Hong Kong, Japan, or America, you can easily find everything you want in one place.
Second, there are too many advertisements on licensed platforms. Although copyright owners claim that VIP members don’t need to watch ads, members still have to watch various kinds of advertisements. For example, at the beginning of a video, there’s usually an ad that you can skip or manually fast-forward — but when you try to fast-forward, you often click the ad interface by accident, which redirects you to the advertiser’s website. While you’re watching, ads also appear in the corner of the screen all the time.
If you think you can tolerate this, there are even worse situations: when you pause the video, the whole screen may be covered by ads. If you want to take a screenshot of an interesting scene to share with your friends, you’ll probably capture an ad instead. When you close the ad, the video automatically starts playing again, making it impossible to capture the right moment.
Last but not least, for people who live abroad — for example, in Japan — they can’t access Chinese or Hong Kong licensed video platforms. Even if they’re willing to pay, they’re still not allowed to watch those videos.
So the only option left is to find a piracy website.
I find this situation very strange, because it feels as if the licensed platforms punish those who support them, while piracy websites reward those who don’t.
文法:
Quite a Distance
Distance
| 可數 (Countable) | 特指「一段距離」、「一段路程」 | It’s a long distance to walk. / We travelled three short distances. |
|---|---|---|
| It requires quite patience to wait for the results. |
| The project consumed quite energy. |
| It was done in quite silence. |
them those
the licensed platforms punish them who support them (x)
the licensed platforms punish those who support them (v)
1. 錯誤的結構:them who...
The licensed platforms punish **them**(主語 - 動詞 - 賓語)them作punish的賓語,這本身沒錯。
I,he,she,we,they,me,him,her,us,them) 在現代英文中,不能被關係子句 (who...)
I see them who are running.
2. 正確的結構:those who...
The licensed platforms punish **those**(主語 - 動詞 - 賓語)those在這裡作punish的賓語,意思就是 “那些人“。
this,that,these,those) 可以被關係子句直接修飾。
I see those who are running.
的人“ (the people who…)
Those who…
regardless of
|---|---|---|
| regardless of + 名词 | They continued the journey regardless of the bad weather. |
| regardless of + 名词性短语 | Everyone is welcome to join, regardless of their age or background. | Their age or background |
| regardless of + 动名词 (Gerund) | The event will take place regardless of whether people show up or not. | Whether people show up or not |
| regardless of + 疑问词引导的从句 | You should treat everyone equally, regardless of what they believe. |
fast-forward
- I usually fast-forward through the ads.
- She fast-forwarded the boring part of the movie.
- Press the fast-forward button.
- There’s a fast-forward feature on this app.
At the beginning of a video, there’s usually an ad that you can skip or manually fast-forward.
- Skip(跳過)
- Manually fast-forward(自己手動快進,而唔係自動快進)
